MARKETPLACE RULES · PRE-LAUNCH DRAFT
Fair bids. Clear responsibilities.
What is agreed
- Pokémon singles and graded cards at launch. Seller plan or above to list; a free account to buy or bid.
- No listing fee. 7.5% CardDesk commission on a successfully paid item price, excluding postage. No additional CardDesk 1.25% fee. CardDesk covers card processing fees.
- Buy It Now is removed after the first bid. Winners have 48 hours to pay. An unpaid win is not a completed sale or a comp.
- Own front and back photos, exact printing, finish, language and honest condition are required.
- Feedback is restricted to paid, delivered orders without an unresolved case. One review per side; reviews appear when both sides submit or after 14 days.
Seller performance programme · proposed
Seller status should reflect a verified trading record, independently of subscription level.
| Tier | Performance standard | Proposed benefits |
|---|---|---|
| New Seller | Building a completed-sale record | Standard support and payout checks |
| Established | Consistent completed sales, reliable dispatch and positive verified feedback | Earned seller badge |
| Power Seller | Sustained volume and high service standards with few upheld seller-fault disputes | Priority support and eligibility for a reviewed commission discount |
| Premier | A sustained high-volume record plus enhanced risk and service review | Reviewed commission terms and eligibility for shorter payout holds |
Qualifying sales counts, review periods, feedback requirements, discounted rates and hold durations are not yet agreed. The base marketplace fee remains 7.5%; no tier benefits are activated in this build.
Reviews should consider completed paid sales, on-time tracked dispatch, verified feedback, seller cancellations and upheld seller-fault cases. Opening a buyer case alone does not establish seller fault. Fraud concerns and active disputes override tier-based payout eligibility.
Upgrades and downgrades require a recorded review with a reason and an appeal route. Faster support does not change the evidence required for a decision.
Buyer protection & payout release
Every seller payment release requires admin review. Payment receipt and seller payout are separate. Payment verification, tracked dispatch, delivery, the claim window and unresolved cases all affect release eligibility.
An open case blocks unreleased funds. Admin review can request evidence, require a return, approve a refund or clear the seller. A case decision does not itself send money or mark a refund completed.
Delivery verification, claim-window length, return deadlines, seller response deadlines, processor capability checks and the live release/refund workers are still being finalised. Live checkout remains closed. This page does not replace statutory rights or the payment provider’s dispute process.
CardDesk sales data
Free on-site comps will use CardDesk’s own verified and settled transactions. Refunded, disputed, unpaid and multi-item bundle prices are excluded. Exact condition and grading tiers stay separate. Buyer details, addresses, messages and seller account identifiers are never included in the external API.
Commercial API credit pricing and payment setup are not open yet. Trawl records and overseas guide prices are not copied into this dataset.
